Welcome to Tokyo
Most trips to Japan begin and end in the largest city in the world and certainly one of the most fascinating places of human strongholds at the same time. Tokyo is the first thing most people associate with Japan and offers a fascinating superlative culture shock. On our trip, there were several highlights in this super metropolis. The Shibuya Scramble Square gave us a literal overview of the entire city and various neighborhoods. This is a gigantic viewing platform in the center, right next to the most famous crosswalk in the world, the Shibuya Crossing.
Highlights in Tokyo
The platform was only opened for the first time with our visit. Other must sees of the city are also the Digital Arts Museum and the Robot Restaurant. The latter is not a culinary delight, but a kind of theater / musical performance that could not be more Japanese.... In the Akihabara district, you get to know especially the famous gaming, anime, and manga culture of the Japanese young generation. Of course, no Tokyo city trip can go without a visit to a karaoke bar.
